House Practice Sessions

"Four Houses, One Cedar"

Dear Parents/Guardians,
As highlighted in the letter given to you...
In preparation for Cedar Sports and Health Carnival 2011, there will be 3 House practice Sessions for your child in Term 2 on the dates stated below:

• 23 March 2011, Wednesday
• 29 March 2011, Tuesday
• 6 April 2011, Wednesday

On these days, selection for the various events e.g. 100m, 200m race etc. will be done, followed by some training sessions. There will also be House cheering practice and also House banner-making sessions. 

Hope that your child will be able to participate in this exciting practice together with their various houses teachers and master.

Thank You for your warm support and hope to see you at the carnival for parents participation!

Values In Action: Name-Calling

This video was shown to the class during VIA lesson, regarding an experiment done by Dr. Masaru Emoto to show the power of music, spoken words pictures and thoughts that can affect the crystallized state of water through a period of time. Indeed, children must be aware of the power of words and to be discouraged from name-calling or using foul languages. A good video to show the pupils practically how our words can also affect each individual as 60% of our body is made up of water.
